Talk to children about each verse and the meaning of each:
1 – 1: Why should we kneel in prayer? Kneeling shows respect.
1 – 2: To whom are we speaking and who sends the message to Him (who is the mediator)? Heavenly Father and Jesus sends the message (refer to the last verse 2-4).
1 – 3: How do we know He answers our prayers? The Spirit (Holy Ghost) is a witness to our mind and heart that our prayers are being answered.
1 – 4: How do we pray in faith? We feel that Heavenly Father cares for us and He will listen to our thoughts.
2 – 1: Why do we begin by saying His name? We are addressing Him, and by speaking His name it shows we are asking for Him to be present in our conversation.
2 – 2: Why is it important to thank Him for blessings He has sent to us? It shows respect and honor and gratitude.
