Then, play this Game to help them know that is an honor to be baptized and confirmed and to partake of the sacrament as they are to become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This Game helps them learn about the Ordinances of Baptism, Confirmation, Sacrament, and Temple that will help them return to live with God again.

Return to Heaven ORDINANCE OPPORTUNITY Game
OBJECTIVE: To help the children feel gratitude for the privilege of being able to be baptized, be confirmed, and partake of the sacrament.
ACTIVITY:
Objective: Help youth learn about the ordinances that will help us return to our heavenly home and live with Heavenly Father again someday. By making the right choices in our journey through life we can return.
AS SHOWN ON THE GAME BOARD:
• Ordinance of BAPTISM allows us to become a member of Jesus Christ’s Church.
• Ordinances of CONFIRMATION allows us to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost to guide us.
• If we keep the commandments we can be worthy of the SACRAMENT ordinance that promises that the Spirit will continue to guide us.
• As we continue to keep the commandments we can prepare to partake of TEMPLE ordinances, endowment, and sealing so we can be with our families forever. Then, after we finish our life here on earth, we can be part of Heavenly Father’s kingdom.
TO PLAY GAME:
1. Place the “Move” blocks (indicating the number of spaces to move, e.g. “Move 3”) in a bowl or hat. Divide youth into two teams, using player markers, e.g., #1, #2, or have more players play (up to 12 players can play using the #1-12 markers).
2. Have players find their way back to their heavenly home by moving forward on the game board, trying to land on the right choices instead of the wrong. From a bowl or hat, take turns drawing a “Move” block, then moving the spaces designated from the START position. If they land on a wrong choice, they move back instead of forward on the next turn. 3. The first player or team to reach heaven wins!
TO MAKE Print or copy, color, and cut out the game, move blocks and player markers.
THOUGHT TREAT: Ordinance Oatmeal Cookies. Place three raisins or chocolate chips on top of oatmeal cookies. Talk about the three ordinances in the game: BAPTISM, CONFIRMATION, and SACRAMENT.
